About
Carrie Benzschawel is a freelance web and graphic designer, based in Chicago, IL - though she serves clients throughout the country. Carrie is passionate about helping nonprofits and progressive small bussinesses communicate effectively with the people they need to reach. After earning a degree in photography and studying writing in college, she spent eleven years in the nonprofit sector, designing websites, running online communication programs, creating effective email campaigns and print pieces, and penning vibrant copy.
Carrie has worked as a capacity builder for community-based organizations, where she learned to love effective collaboration and helping organizations grow by leaps and bounds. She's also been a project manager for a consulting agency where she honed her customer services skills and learned how to keep projects, with mulitple moving pieces, on track.
Some of Carrie's clients are just getting started on the web, while others have found that it's time to update their look, and their tactics, for a new age. If you need someone to supercharge your web and print materials, you've come to the right place.
Strengths
